"Young Life has been a massive part of my life growing up. It’s given me a place where I can come together with friends of different denominations to not only have fun, but also have deep conversations about who God is. Although Young Life has given me a place to grow with my peers, it has also brought relationships with adults who I am able to rely on and still keep in touch with. Knowing that there are always people there for you who aren’t only your parents or family is something that most kids don’t experience. That makes these relationships with leaders so much more special. Young Life has brought me closer to so many people, especially through camps where otherwise I wouldn’t see myself growing closer to these people. The camps work in amazing ways to bring kids together and closer to God while they don’t even realize it. The memories I have made and relationships I have built is a huge part of what Young Life has meant to me. One last thing that I have loved about Young Life is seeing the ins and outs. I loved the opportunity to lead WyldLife kids my junior year of high school, being able to give back to what I had as a middle schooler and help guide those kids through life. I am beyond blessed to have had Young Life throughout middle school and even today where I am working with WyldLife in Grand Forks, ND."
